Governments have built values around material wealth, no value is seen in  ecological wealth which is what keeps life on this plant sustained. The only way to save ourselves and the planet is by putting financial value on ecological wealth, yet to some, this is an  invisible or an abstract concept in terms of human understanding of how much work and production goes on in the mechanisms of ecosystems in nature. We pay no attention to it we are so disconnected from nature we don’t think about the consequences of how much rubbish we gernate each week or where that goes, if we treat the Earth like one big garbage disposal, its going to come back to us with severe consequences on the future of our lives and health as well as the future of the planet. What we do affects the mechanisms of nature or ecosystems. Our anthropogenic impact,  how we live has immediate impact on nature to a monumentous scale where environmental scientists or ecologists have no time to measure our impact efficiently on each ecosystem or species,  though the signs point to warning signals for the future of all species, where both plant and animal species are going extinct at a rate of 200 species per day disappearing forever from this unique planet.

The environmental crisis is a crisis of human understanding, the outer manifestation of this destruction is an indication that we need to change. We are living in a time where we need to re-establish our lost connection with the Earth.

“At a deep psychological level, convincing young people that they will get the respect, admiration, and love that they are looking for, through consumerism, is a manipulation of a deep human instinct to want to belong. Advertising and the media reinforce this message, in the process, destroying the community structures that provided people with the affirmation that they need. We have evolved in groups – deeply interdependent and connected – the separation and competition of the modern world is antithetical to our deepest needs.” – Helena Norberg Hodge

Helena Norberg Hodge is an ecological pioneer and author of Ancient Futures, she studied with Noam Chomsky, Founder of the Society for Ecology and Culture and she believes that those running the global economy are imposing structural violence on our world.

Over the last 60 years, an ecological imbalance has emerged  due to the monopolisation of natural resources and energy, a monopoly that overlooks a need to create a more sustainability based economy that is within the bounds of the Earth’s natural carrying capacity. Centralised control of natural resources in the ‘free market’ causes imbalances such as socio-economic problems in the countries where these valuable natural resources are based. The result is deforestation, famine, debt, homelessness and problems for local food growers and indigenous producers. How is it justifiable that a wealthier country has helped itself to local resources of developing countries, leaving the natives with nothing? We need to focus on localised sustainability, basically going back to the traditional ways of farming and managing local agricultural practices. People in the west hold a lot of personal power by choosing ethically the products they buy, if people were more aware that their consumerism perpetuates injustices around the world then everyone would be more conscious about what they buy and who they buy it from.  However, most people that live in priviledged countries, rest on the poverty and injustice of slave continents such as Africa and parts of Central and South America and Asia for minerals, raw materials, fuel, cheap clothes and electrical goods.

It is definitely a fundamental truth that ‘needing and having’ are the current basis of what drives Capitalism.

Our over-reliance on technology is driving this unfolding ecocide, with emphasis conveniently on emissions from cars and industry rather than focusing on reducing the consumption of oil which is at a record breaking high of around 96 to 100,000 barrels a day this year, 2016. There is no excuse now to keep ignoring the Water Fuel cell car which Honda and Toyota and Genopax have already made available on the market but that the governments and corporations conveniently ignore by not supporting these clean energy systems by providing the infrastructure of rechargeable stations for Waterfuel cell cars and other clean energy cars.

colta vs gorrilas

The consumerism of electrical goods such as ipads, tablets and android phones all rely on a highly unethical mining industry that relies on slave labour to mine and assemble electrical products in inhumane conditions, in addition to driving the destruction of the last cloud forests home of the highly endangered Silverback Gorilla populations in Africa. This is well illustrated by the story of the Silverback Gorillas in the African Congo. The mining of Gold, Diamonds and Coltan, (geological name – Columbite Tantalite), a mineral used in the microchips of every single new electronic device, cell phone or tablet and laptop, comes from the African Congo, Virungas National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A biodiverse ecosystem where a small group of the world’s last remaining Silverback Gorillas are critically threatened with extinction from poaching and continually reduced habitat due to these existing ‘Conflict Minerals’ being extracted in the area, that the world is responsible for plundering.

Coltan can only be found in a few places in the world, one of which is in Australia, which was the world’s largest producer at Wodinga Tantalum mine in Western Australia, however they closed their mine in 2012 because it is cheaper to mine it using slave labour in inhumane conditions in Africa’s Democratic Republic of Congo. To make matters worse for the Silverback Gorillas, the SOCO International energy company are pushing to extract gas and oil reserves from under Lake Edward in the National Park, all this, at the cost of one of the last greatest African forests and majestic Gorillas which have only been given an estimated 15 years of survival amidst the adversities they face and through our lack of global responsibility to better manage conservation of such situations, because minerals, gold, diamonds and oil are far more important than saving the Silverback Gorillas and their forest home.

The fact that a mining company can cut corners to make a bigger profit at the expense of an entire endangered species such as the Mountain Gorilla and at the expense of hard working African miners that are virtually slaves, shows that international environmental and human rights laws are far too flimsy and the Western world conveniently lacks ethics in business that feeds and perpetuates slavery, species extinction and ecocide.

The current psychology behind what drives capitalism cultivates a certain emptiness and spiritual deficit that leads to severe depression and lack of self-worth, when people feel that they have failed society and in societies view have not achieved a desirable status. For some, this leads to severe depression. There was an element of not feeling useful to society or the  community in the Western world if one is not successful financially, having access to community services and communal areas that include tending nature and growing food all provide a healthier sense of self worth, as human beings we need to feel a sense of belonging in our local communities, connecting with nature helps fill this void. If we had stronger communities in the West. Last year in the UK at least 12 men under the age of 45 committed suicide in the UK per day, perhaps the numbers of those suffering from depression could be reduced if we shift our values from status, financial worth and material wealth to values that focus on connecting with each other in our local communities and with nature .

Depression is an indication that human consciousness needs to change, the current social environment does nothing to remedy depression, it does everything to cause mental illness and disfunction. We need to change our psychological and status values in Western society to values that have more depth and meaning for the human spirit. An ecological economy would influence and cultivate healthier values for individuals as well as stronger communities, people could cultivate a self-worth that can be attributed to feeling part of a community and caring for the environment, values not based on status, or on consumerist needs and wants that are never deeply fulfilling.

Being as honest with one’s self and others as is possible is important, we are not robots, and we are not machines, we are human beings that have lost our humanity in the distraction of false value systems. Being in nature, being creative, painting, writing, singing, and making things; developing projects that could contribute to a better and more harmonious world, playing music or getting involved in a community project or doing something that aids deep relaxation, meditation or trance, all of these things can help bring feelings of deeper fulfilment and bring us more into the moment, reconnecting us with the joy that comes from just being and connecting with others on a deeper level. Reaching out as much as possible to friends and family, without feeling humiliated or the stigma that is carried with the label ‘depression’ and the negative stigma that go with it such as the words ‘mental illness or mental disease’. Inner work is really important for all of us, not just those of us suffering from depression, but those of us suffering from denial which seems to be the greater problem in human society.

William Manson explains that in 1968, Erich Fromm prophesied The year 2000, might be the beginning of a period in which man ceases to be human and becomes transformed into an unthinking and unfeeling machine”. -In the context of a prevailing dehuman syndrome, spontaneous human expression becomes pathologised: Being open in speech; being unashamed of one’s body; relating to nature; hugging, touching, feeling and making love with other people; refusing to serve in the army and kill; and becoming less dependent on machines are generally considered ‘disturbed behaviour’ by a society of robopaths”. Of course, behavioural modification is facilitated through ideological training, expanding law enforcement, and emotional anaesthesia (psychopharmacology). In my view, revitalisation of one’s desiccated human-ness first and foremost requires a renewed contact with the web of evolved life, with Walt Whitman’s ‘primal sanity of nature’. Transcending the blinkered, bourgeois-utilitarian (mechanistic-industrial) world-view, one can embark on a purification of consciousness, a purging of the detritus of cultural pollution (and a recovery of emotional innocence). Withdrawing from the world of urban commerce (and its mind-numbing “messages”), one severs the flow of media propaganda and ceaseless “information” (relating to the ubiquitous ‘buying and selling’). Compulsive ‘having’ is the pathology of deficient ‘being.’ Aesthetic simplicity means disconnecting from repulsive superfluity. Seeking sanctuary in wilderness surroundings, one rediscovers the gentler rhythms of low-cost rural living: walking instead of driving, and prevention of disease through a style of living consonant with ecological wisdom.’’-William Manson.

The Water Fuel Cell Car vs Oil, Terrorism and Climate Change

I will never forget how an editor from a well known publishing company scoffed at me when I explained the world economy is based on oil, most people are not ecologically literate and that really needs to change, if we have any chance of survival. This environmental crisis is driven by the world´s dependence on oil, it is a subject that affects everyone on this planet.

While the world is on terrorism alert and certain countries are trying hard to foster a political climate for  World War III via Machiavellian tactics, while Paris is gearing up for the COP21 Climate talks and unbeknown to most, there will be a global Carbon Tax implimented as a result of these talks, because governments and banks gain around 33 trillion a year from trading carbon and taxing emissions.  This system does not remedy the root of the problem, while the emphasis is on emissions instead of consumption of Oil. The root cause to these critical environmental problems are blatently ignored, it is the consumption of oil which is the true cause of ecocide on the planet, because oil consumption is the highest it has ever been in human history, in 2010 the world oil consumption was at a rate of 87 million barrels of oil per day, which has currently increased to 97 million barrels per day by 2016, that is almost a 100 million barrels per day drained from the Earth!  How much more do these world oil barons think they can bleed out of the Earth?

Bz ALTERNATE 07-01-10Souce Bizarro.com http://bizarrocomic.blogspot.co.uk

Aside from the fact that the climate has always been changing, that is what its role in ecology is, to change, it is not global warming or emissions environmentalists and politicians should be focusing on, this is all an astroturfed distraction, because they are all too afraid of having their multi-billions taken away from them. The climate change debate on emissions is solely designed and engineered for reasons that provide political control and unfairly repressive sanctions over developing countries such as Africa and other countries that have been made to submit, so that more powerful countries gain access with emission cuts, whilst the Western world can exploit their natural resources and make trillions from trading carbon and carbon taxing.

This is what Obama said at a talk in 2013, just to give you a clue of what is really driving these wars on Middle eastern terrorism and the problems we have been seeing unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico, Tar Sands and other pipelines, its all connected to the globally manufactured war on terror.

I’ve come to Cushing, an oil town — (applause) — because producing more oil and gas here at home has been, and will continue to be, a critical part of an all-of-the-above energy strategy.  (Applause.)

Now, under my administration, America is producing more oil today than at any time in the last eight years.  (Applause.)  That’s important to know.  Over the last three years, I’ve directed my administration to open up millions of acres for gas and oil exploration across 23 different states.  We’re opening up more than 75 percent of our potential oil resources offshore.  We’ve quadrupled the number of operating rigs to a record high.  We’ve added enough new oil and gas pipeline to encircle the Earth and then some.

So we are drilling all over the place — right now.  That’s not the challenge.  That’s not the problem.  In fact, the problem in a place like Cushing is that we’re actually producing so much oil and gas in places like North Dakota and Colorado that we don’t have enough pipeline capacity to transport all of it to where it needs to go — both to refineries, and then, eventually, all across the country and around the world.  There’s a bottleneck right here because we can’t get enough of the oil to our refineries fast enough.  And if we could, then we would be able to increase our oil supplies at a time when they’re needed as much as possible.

Now, right now, a company called TransCanada has applied to build a new pipeline to speed more oil from Cushing to state-of-the-art refineries down on the Gulf Coast. And today, I’m directing my administration to cut through the red tape, break through the bureaucratic hurdles, and make this project a priority, to go ahead and get it done. (Applause.) ´´ – President Obama, March the 22nd 2012.

´´Cut through the red tape´´ means take several years to bypass respectable environmental laws that protect national parks and oceans from oil drilling and refining and foster a war on terror to make the world bend to America´s oil processing and refinery needs.

It is interesting that everytime the Water Fuel Cell car has been close to being publically unveiled or featured in mainstream media newspapers, not long afterwards a major event occurs that totally distracts the world media. Japan was about to launch a water fuel cell car in 2011, a company called Genepax, they unveiled a car that can run on river, rain or sea water, and even run on Japanese tea. Then Fukushima occurred as a result of the earthquake activity and tsunami before the car could be made available to the world market. Since then, we have had the radiated pollution of the Pacific ocean sea life and thousands of marine species have had mass die offs as marine ecosystems collapse, rather disconcerting when it is the oceans microbial and algal life forms that produce around 80 percent of our oxygen requirements.

This year it has been announced in mainstream media newspapers that Honda will launch the Water Fuel Cell car in 2016 and this Water Fuel Cell system has been demonstrated to also be able to support a domestic household with all the power it needs. Alternative energy solutions exist, the Water Fuel Cell was invented by Stanley Meyers back in the 1980s, he was poisoned in 1998 at a restaurant, probably by oil barons. A few years before Stanley was murdered he gave a presentation on his water fuel cells, in the presentation, Meyer describes a molecular, chemical and electrical level of  how water can be used as fuel — not just as a gas, but for domestic and industrial electrical generation. Meyers was also the holder of  40 patents.

Ten years later Honda launched a water fuel cell car that also has the capability to provide domestic power for a house, this probably evolved from Stanley Meyers original design.  Honda made this car available to the Hollywood elite in 2003, now they claim to be launching this water fuel cell car to become available in 2016 to the public. However, they are saying that the current lack of infrastructure worldwide to support Hydrogen fuel cell technology will need to be worked on. What this actually means is not something a mainstream newspaper will publish, it means that the oligarchy, the politicians and oil company CEOs and shareholders will not take kindly to the Water Fuel Cell car that can also provide domestic power to the home to finally become available to the public market, therefore they will make it difficult for hydrogen processing plants and Water Fuel Cell stations to emerge as part of this supportive infrastructure while those that hold the oil monopoly cards also hold places of decision making that stop the emergence of alternative emission free solutions that are also solutions as alternatives to consuming oil, stopping ecocide and the current mechanisms behind war.

Think about the economically devasting implications this would have on the current oligarchy monopoly on grid electicity power companies and oil stakeholders, when oil companies presently rake in 100,000 dollars per hour in profits. An astronomical amount of fortune that the world powers will defend with severe vehemency to protect its domination and fortune, the war on terror is being used to protect this fortune. These figures can easily be found in Forbes and Business insider and various geopolitical newspapers. Most people do not think about the simplicity of the expression ´´follow the money´´ but it does yeild the true motives of war, let alone bypassing environmental legislations and environmental agreements.

Most people do not realize there are currently clean energy solutions available, there are solar powered and water fuel cell cars that can travel thousands of kilometers before needing to recharge. These are the most advanced alternative vehicles we have so far to oil, yet these technologies are being ignored by politicians and NGOs at the Climate Talks that just focus on emissions rather than stopping oil consumption altogether by bringing this technology to dominate the world market.  What better opportunity to display such cars at these events for the world to see at the sustainability exhibition event at the Paris COP 21 Climate talks, these should be the solutions presented or point to the question ´why´ are these vehicles not available to us now, why is the consumption of oil not made obsolete on the basis of the current environmental crisis?

How can world leaders discuss cutting emissions without stopping the root cause of the problem when oil consumption is at a record breaking high worldwide?

If the global world leaders genuinely cared about the planet, government representatives at the Paris COP talks would focus on putting an end to the environmentally destructive oil industry, stopping the consumption of oil, not constantly focusing on emissions, which is a debatable unsettled science for climate change. Despite this, the environment is still in severe crisis with 150 to 200 species disappearing each day due to oil and gas extraction on terrestrial and the ocean environments. Rainforests occupy around 5 percent of the Earth’s terrestrial land, yet rainforests contain over 50 percent of the world’s plants and animal species (biodiversity). There is no accounting for the number of plant and tree species fast disappearing, especially from the rainforests, which are being destroyed at a rate of 60 square kilometres per hour. That is the equivalent of 4,000 football pitches per hour, every hour of every day that passes, with an exponentially rising rate of biodiversity loss.

As we already have proven solutions such as the Water Fuel Cell and Solar Powered cars that have been test drived over thousands of kilometres are efficent form of emission free these cars are available for use to the world now, why are these wonderful technologies not available now to the public and why have they not been put into immediate production use?

For the obvious reason that the oil monopoly has bought its way into politics because oil production yeilds 100,000 million dollars per hour per oil company. These are the issues that should be highlighted at the Paris Climate Talks, not debating emissions or whether CO2 is a natural pollutant or whether the climate is heating up or cooling down. The fact that the Water Fuel Cell car and Solar cars are available for use but being ignored as alternative solutions is a question that should be on everyone´s mind for this climate change conference. These and other various forms of current solutionary energy systems that are breaking the mold of mainstream energy monopolies right now, but that are conveniently being ignored by world leaders, who are solely interested in perpetuating war for oil whilst destroying the planet in the process.

Free Energy is at a Breakthrough from here on

Africa, authority, Balance, Bhutan, capitalism, Compassion, conflict minerals, Congo, Consciousness, Corpocracy, corpocratic, Corporatization, Deep Ecology, Dr Saamdu Chetri, Ecocide, ecological economics, ecological illiteracy, ecology, ecosystems, Empathy, Exploitation, Free Energy, Freedom, Future, Gaia, GNH, greed, Gross National Happiness, Happiness, Hope, indigenous people, Love, natural carrying capacity, Peace, Petroleum, Silent Ecocide, Sovereignity, species extinction, Spiritual Ecology, Spiritual Elders, Sustainability, Terrorism, Wholeness

Many people that have been following developments in the Free Energy movement will know that there are a plethora of Free Energy devices that work, the list of ways to create Over Unity (Free Energy) is booming as we experience a renaissance in technological developments from creating alternative energy devices in nano technology, magnetism, leverage, water fuel cells or plasma science.

The problem is not how to create electrical energy, energy exists in the Aether, all around us,  the problem is how to make these devices available on the public market, so much violent resistance is usually met by inventors from Oil Barons and Energy Monopoly Companies.

The elite control global oil companies and  gain a profit of 100 million dollars per hour everyday of every week, every week of every year, extracting oil from the deep ocean or from beneath the rain forests resulting in destruction of the Amazon, causing countless oil spills and environmental disasters on an ecocidal scale. While this continues, so does the repression of every other form of technology available that could free humanity from the current destructive paradigm we do not consent to.

Alternative energy devices are met with a steel wall of resistance by governments and corporations. It has taken people risking their lives to break the cycle of vehement repression of stopping alternative energy devices becoming available to humanity and 180 years of endured repression. This repression has been via control of patents or via means of the Energy Cabal buying alternative energy devices and blueprints from inventors or by murdering inventors, such as was the demise of Eugene Mallove and Stanley Meyers. Passive repressive action is by means of the government ignoring these inventions and repression of their coverage on mainstream media or on the public energy market.

However, through a combination of a modern technological renaissance, human consciousness shifting and the alternative media becoming more popular than mainstream media, we are presently witnessing continual breakthroughs with alternative energy devices being made more freely available to the general public.

For these reasons, alternative energy systems are breaking the fierce barrier of controlled repression. Next year, the Water Fuel Cell car will be made available to the public, and there are pilot studies of solar powered roads being tested and solar cars that are powerful enough to travel over 3000 kms on solar energy that will be available on the public market in the near future.

Today marks a huge step in human evolution as an interesting plasma energy device  is breaking through the barrier of resistance thanks to the work of Mehran Keshe, who founded the Keshe Foundation

Ambassador_Invitation

We are witnessing a historic moment- as of today, thanks to Keshe. There will be an International meeting held in Rome today as the Keshe foundation hold the 3rd World Ambassador Meeting for World Peace, the goal is to provide Free Energy for World Peace  on the 16th of October,  Keshe will be releasing a new plasma technology device referred to as the ”Blue Box” to generate over-unity to show world leaders and ambassadors that this device functions successfully and can be used and tested anywhere globally to provide Free Energy using plasma technology.

A number of ”Blue Box” plasma energy devices will be distributed to world leaders, including president Obama, who will receive one of these devices so it can be tested in the White house. Other people receiving the ”Blue Box” will be the Iranian president Hassan Rouhani,  the president of The Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, one will be sent to the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. One device will be sent to the president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama, one will be sent to President Putin in Moscow and one will be sent to the President of China, Xi Jinping, the only commitment  Keshe asks from these world leaders is to sign and make a commitment to the World Peace Treaty. The ”Blue Box” plasma units will be delivered to Ambassadors and random citizens in different locations across the globe, all who will also be able to test and use Keshes’ plasma technology.  This approach will  bypass government repression and show the world that this technology actually works. Keshe said this will be followed by releasing larger plasma energy units around the world.

Keshe is confident that these ”Blue Box” Plasma devices will be available at a cost of $200, so every household could generate their own power and be free of the grid electricity monopoly. Keshe states that funding the larger generators will be available from many sources for those that cannot afford a unit. The Keshe Foundation claims that all profits will be channelled solely into manufacturers producing new unites, the Keshe Foundation will not collect any profits.

The goal of the Keshe Foundation plasma technologies is to make alternative energy technologies available to create a more sustainable  and peaceful world for all, to improve the lives of humanity globally and decrease the disparity between the wealthy and the poor, so that a better quality of life is achieve for all. How the 1 percent elite control system respond to this one is a guessing game, though predictable, many leaders will probably simply ignore the technology, like they have ignored other similar alternative technologies and  Keshe is probably aware that his life is at risk. Whatever happens, this day marks a global shift in consciousness, thanks to Keshe’s bold move to distribute these ”Blue Boxes” to world leaders.  The level of global focus from the alternative media on this is the most that any Free Energy Device has received in sometime, this also indicates that the alternative media has become the more popular media in comparison to mainstream media sources, which again indicates that the shift in consciousness is taking place. This also comes at a time when the Water Fuel Cell car that Stanley Meyers originally invented that can also power a domestic home will be available next year.

India is also on the threshhold of launching a Free Energy Technology for use that will eradicate poverty in India,  Paramahamsa Tewari is Chief  Project Engineer of the Kaiga Project, Karwar, in India, Tewari has created a magnetic overunity device called the Reactionless AC Synchronous Generator (RLG)

Dr Tewari and many other alternative energy scientists have already disproved the mainstream beliefs of the laws of physics.

Tewari states “It has been hitherto believed in physics that the total electric charge in the Universe is a constant quantity, and if additional charge appears in some region, it is only at the expense of the charge deficit in some other regions.  It is a basic law that electric charge is conserved and cannot be destroyed or created.  Precise experiments on a Space Power Generator (SPG) which has been now further developed to demonstrate the commercial viability of the newly discovered phenomenon of space power generation however, totally violate the existing law of conservation of charge, by generating output electrical power much in excess of the input electrical power.  Since electric charge is a form of basic energy, the law of conservation of energy will need to be enlarged to incorporate in it the dynamics of absolute vacuum which in a state of rotation generates a fundamental field to produce electrical charge and energy.”

Other exciting technological breakthrough include developments in Nanotechnology. Thanks to entrepreneur, Justin Hall, sought out the world’s leading nanotechnology scientists to harness the electron and create energy through nano technology, now they have a company called Nanoholdings is a team of scientists, investors and innovators working at the cutting-edge of nanotechnology to develop solutions to the world’s growing energy problems. Working in partnership with the world’s best universities, they have developed products and companies that will revolutionize the way we use and generate energy.

Nanoholdings are a company moving towards harnessing the electron can be used to generate energy in nanotechnology again this will mean people will no longer need an electric grid system, they will be able to create energy wherever they are, at work or at home, the days of the coal or nuclear power stations are numbered as nano-technologies are developing, there are some  incredible solutions available that bypass the need for an energy power plant.

Imagine you live in a building that has very large windows, you can use each window much like a solar panel but simply by using a thin plastic film with energy harnessing systems embedded inside the film as fine or finer than a human hair, the plastic sheet can be stuck onto the window panes of a house or office building to use the light and heat energy beaming in through the window. The plastic sheet will be a powerhouse unto itself and able to do many complex things using nanotechnology to convert light energy from the sun to power up the room for heat or to cool or generate electricity and if it is not required there, it can then be sent to someone else who needs it more.

In ecological terms, this is much like the forest energy exchanges that occur in forest ecosystems in the roots of ancient trees, the oldest grandmother trees in a forest community are constantly shuffling nutrients and water back and forth to the younger trees that need it the most, in other words nano-technologies are becoming ecologically sustainable in terms of producing energy, which makes every individual human able to become self-empowered with their own energy needs and to provide the same energy for their neighbour or local community in the future.

Two things stand out about us — we focus exclusively on nanotechnology-based energy solutions and we work at the very cutting-edge of nano-energy research.

Our extensive network of leading scientists in the nanotechnology field are central to our work – scientists based at eminent universities around the world, who are working at the coal-face of nano-energy research to seek out alternative solutions for how we generate, transmit, store and use energy. We support and guide their research, transforming breakthroughs into viable solutions — products to revolutionize the way we use and generate energy.’‘ – Justin Hall

It is important to highlight the fact that mainstream science taught in schools and universities  is only a tiny segment of a larger science that continues to be kept hidden from humanity.  This tiny part that we are familiar with, is used as a propaganda tool to keep the governments in power and people from believing that energy already exists all around us. We are now witnessing a shift in science, knowledge and consciousness as these present technologies will continue to push the barriers of resistance

It is necessary to tell people about these suppressed sciences.  People in the academic sector live in fear of this knowledge or speaking openly about these issues, especially to fellow environmental scientists or physicists.  Free-Energy science is rarely acknowledged by most environmental campaigners or scientists or organisations who talk about improving the environment with alternative energy.

There are many alternative publishers and environmental organizations that do great work but will not even take the subject of Free-Energy seriously, perhaps because they are put off by the implications of this subject and fear it would reduce public support and donations if they did take up the campaign. Despite this, public awareness is growing and those of us that have the knowledge, feel an intense desire to pass it on and share it with many more that are up for the challenge.  This is a really exciting time to be alive and witness world changing shifts that most of us never expected to see in our lifetime.

We are witnessing the human relationship with reality and our perception of reality change, as more and more people are beginning to become aware of their subconscious capability to manifest our reality. This is the ecological relationship of the Noosphere to the Biosphere, the effect of global human thought (consciousness) on the Planet, the noospheric climate affects the ecology of all life on Planet Earth.

What we experience in life’s unfolding day to day events to some extent are being shaped by our subconscious minds, bare in mind this is also affected by external factors, but on some level we can see elements of our emotions and thoughts influencing our reality, it may be in the form of your worst fears, or your most hoped for dreams, your frustrations or something that completely surprises you, but that may symbolize something you need to pay attention to. Life can feel like that, when you become aware of the mind relationship to matter, obviously environmental factors and external events are not things we can fully control, but to some extent we are able to affect our future with intention, enfused with emotions that are our imagined state with the outcome we want to see happen.

When more and more people take responsibility of their internal mind and emotional clutter, it may help create a more harmonious external world, we have created external deformities, by being unaware of our internal chaos. So to some degree we do not have complete control over our external reality, but with mindfulness we certainly have some mental and emotional interaction with co-creating reality.

When we subconsciously manifest situations or outcomes in conflict with what we think we have to do in order to see or make something happen, we still live our daily lives, physically confirming that we only live in one realm of reality and that most of us are totally unaware of our abilities to converse with the universe via intention and imagination. When most people talk about manifesting what they want to see happen in their lives, most are already usually in a financial position that enables them to do so, therefore the true test to see this work is when its put into practice by those of us that don’t have the financial resources to make something happen. I have been in a period of destitution for sometime and stuck in a third world developing country so I have been using my imagination and heart to help improve things for myself or for my pets and for other people and it does work but requires a fair amount of mindful intention and self awareness.

Most human beings think we are utterly powerless on a subconscious level to co-create our reality. We see reality as something we can only steer by physically going out into the world and changing it and mentally by logistical means in terms of the nature of how we choose to communicate and conduct ourselves out there in the world on a personal or professional level, using our knowledge, experience and skills and so on in order to ‘earn a living’ or create a family, interacting with the world for survival purposes.

Is it possible that the world is the way it is and that a system of control was put in place because we have been ignorant to the nature of our true relationship with reality? Is it possible because we have been ignorant to the fabric of consciousness, time and our true relationship to Earth and Cosmos, that this reality has become one that we do not all consensually agree to? We are seeing that we have had our human rights taken from us and this continues, we cannot even have a say or physically stop others from destroying life on Earth, others that are in power but have complete disregard for the preservation of nature or human life.

Earth and her creatures are being caused much suffering and injustice. We feel powerless in the face of a world we do not agree with, because we have not yet fully realized that we can change it by becoming fully internally aware of our power to co-create with reality.

This starts only when we hold a space to cultivate inner balance by practicing consciously being aware of our internal emotional and mental climate. We can only then become self empowered enough to manifest an external reality that we would prefer to live and experience, one that does not involve all this destruction and violence or injustices.

The mass state of human consciousness is seen through such a restricted and programmed lens, a lens of human limitation because we perceive reality as something caused by external events, a result of our actions, the actions of others and other external factors such as environment, society and culture. We very easily ignore the possibility of our own undiscovered abilities to actually use intention to manifest a more harmonious life for ourselves, our families, our communities, other species and for Planet Earth. We are so accustomed to the bright lights, parental society and over stimulation, we are still very much infants emotionally, a product of social engineering with the foresight towards corporate tyranny.

Yet within this prison that we do not all consensually agree to, some of us just want to stay there because becoming aware of one’s own power is seen as too painful, it takes away the comforting illusions and shows us the inner and outer deformations, pain and violation. Many people are afraid to take responsibility as it requires walking into unknown territory, it requires self-sufficiency, it requires being alone at times you do not wish to be alone, it requires a great deal of courage and letting go of fears that become the comfortable armchairs for those that choose to stay in their enslavement of consciousness.

Being aware of the power of thoughts and emotions as well as one’s actions on reality requires a lot of daily practice and mindfulness, for example you can become aware that you are anxious before you go outside to interact with the world, then you might witness an accident or something negative happens. We can be aware of future events before they happen, individually and on a mass consciousness level, this has already been proven through studies performed by Academics at Princeston University as part of the Noosphere project to study Global Consciousness by meaningful correlations through random data, Princeston scientists and engineers discovered that people were collectively reacting to the events of 9/11 on a sub conscious level, before they happened, their research has investigated interconnected human consciousness on a global scale (Noosphere) and how our interactions affect us individually, but more intriguingly on a global level of human consciousness. The project is ongoing at Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research Lab, Princeton University and is directed by Roger Nelson.

Quantum physicists and other scientific researchers on consciousness are revealing the same evidence that we are able to sense future events and affect reality with our emotions and thoughts. The HeartMath institute have conducted experiments specifically looking into how human awareness can affect external reality. Or it could be that your state of mind and anxiety influenced that external event. There really is no way of knowing to what degree either is possible, but we are seeing that we can to some degree manifest, co-create or affect our reality with our minds, imagination and emotions, intentions and so on. We are finding out we can heal our bodies with the power of our minds and we can help heal other people’s or other animals bodies with mediation, prayer, intention, empathy, love, reiki, prana, chi, whatever you want to call it. This energy comes from the Aether, the fifth element that mainstream academic science denies, the Aetheric field can also generate electrical energy and is the world wide web of universal consciousness.

Our perception of reality is being filtered by our experienced perception of time, which the human brain can only really perceive as linear time. On one level it could be that everything can be accessed where we are right now, we can travel to our past from the present, we can travel to the future from the present, we can even travel to other dimensions and return to the present, we are in the present, past and the future at the same time. The human mind can only perceive life occurring though linear time, but what if it is possible to move through dimensions such as past, present and future and even other worlds or universes using intention at once. Meditation and many therapeutic practitioners witness this can be done through clinical hypnotherapy, remote viewing or meditation practices. With intention, one can go back and work on healing past wounds and letting go of traumas, the future can be perceived as something that we each have an opportunity to co-create by adding our individual wishes for ourselves, our families, humanity in general, the Earth and our fellow species. This is a more heart centered way of using the power of intention and imagination without it being exclusive to material gain.

What does being aware of all of this teach us, if we want to become self-empowered and with our minds and hearts use intention to play a part in changing a reality we are experiencing, but not consequentially agreeing to?

It takes a path of constant practice in balancing one’s self awareness of physically doing things to create a reality one would like to live in, from creating a life on your terms rather than the terms of society, to an alternative more peaceful life in a more sustainable and harmonious world, one that we would all prefer to experience and live, we need to balance action with intention, we need to be able to co-create alternative solutions together as well as individually through being the architectures of our reality mutually, practically as well as on an energetic level. We must all be vigilant of the global mass consciousness that is being socially engineered through consensual culture and media as a separate entity of consciousness that has a separate intention for humanity that isn’t for the best interests of all but of a mere few. Then we can begin cultivating the awareness of a loving communal consciousness with your kinship, your soul family, your tribe and the awareness of how fragmented and un-unified human awareness is, globally and the awareness that the solution to this is acts of kindness, love and empathy where possible in one’s local community as globally, on a microcosm level and a macrocosm level. The energetic ecology of the internal body is profoundly connected to the energetic ecology of the earth and universe, this is the noosphere connected to the biosphere.

Despite the world wide web being used as a way to thieve privacy from humanity, the internet is also showing us the unfolding evolution of all of these factors involved in awakening. Becoming aware of the power of the human mind and emotions and how these elements have a true relationship and the ability to co-create with reality, its like a a conversation with consciousness and with the Aetheric consciousness that we are all a part of biologically, chemically and energetically. The existence of the internet and how we build, see, experience, create and collaborate through it, already is having an effect on evolving human compassion as well as consciousness, this testimony is that its encouraging more unity through shared and mutually agreed upon empathy and compassion to end war and suffering of our brothers and sisters, our fellow humans and of other species and to end the destruction of nature. People are supporting one another when others need help, and support, new tools are being created to ease us away from archaic systems and when we hear about crisis on one side of the planet such as an earthquake, we respond far more quickly with solutions even if the governments themselves drag their feet, we are seeing we don’t need such archaic systems to get things done, we just need empathy, community, trust and the currency of kindness.

There are millions of people awakening amidst the Sixth Greatest Mass Extinction, we are awakening to The Silent Ecocide and the extent of its injustices. We are reacting with waves of compassion and acts of kindness to other humans and animals, locally and globally. Some of us are being shocked out of our infantile emotional states to free ourselves from the Parental system that only seeks to feed off and control us, to keep us in a stagnant stasis.

Our very hearts are reacting to this unagreed reality and it is from here that the wave of consciousness will spiral onward and upward. The courage humans are showing in the wake of tyrannical ruling is incredibly deep and powerful, many have lost and risk loosing their very lives to do so. This courage is caused by our deepest internal knowledge in our hearts and souls of what is natural law, what is truly right and wrong and the rejection of constant war and destruction. We are so tired of it, that it is motivating us to become the new bridge builders, map makers and seed planters, we are walking as a tribe, unified, arm in arm, whilst we walk into uncharted territory. We realize more and more how important love and trust is, for ourselves, for our faith in our personal intuition, our personal abilities to manifest life on our terms and for the good of others, and we are learning to put more value on love and trust in our new local and global communities and tribes of awakened people.

Love and Trust will be the foundations of this new emerging consciousness, as we intentionally path the way for a more advanced level of human consciousness, one that considers community more than one’s self, one that considers other creatures and our connection to nature, what we do to nature, we do to ourselves.

This emerging self empowered consciousness is one that realizes that the belief that the external and the material world is our God, a belief that is flawed and has only fueled and led us to this destructive reality. When all along, connecting with God Consciousness starts from working within, in order to see it manifested externally. We must be aware of the internal in order to shift and co-create positive change, it depends on each and every one of us, realizing we must take responsibility to cultivate deeper self awareness, mindfulness and empathy, creators and co-creators, artists in an awakened imagination of infinite possibilities-

Consider the disparity of evolving technologies in terms of comparing how far we have come with computer technology, wireless internet, and solar power and yet we are still driving around fossil fuel-guzzling, heavy clunking bits of metal spewing out carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other pollutants that are driving ecological collapse.

However, they are saying that the current lack of infrastructure to support Hydrogen fuel cell technology will need to be worked on, what this actually means is not something a mainstream newspaper will publish, it means that the oligarchy that own the oil and energy companies, will not take kindly to the Water Fuel Cell Car that can also provide domestic power to the home to finally become available to the public market, therefore they will make it difficult for hydrogen processing plants and Water Fuel Cell stations to emerge as part of this supportive infrastructure. When an oil company earns 50 million dollars in profit per hour, they will continue to vehemently repress anything that is threatening to their Oil and Energy Monopoly, it has been clear that the oligarchy wish to control the world’s water supplies too, this could be one reason why.

Whereas, we the people would like to see a technological harmony in our vehicles and transport that would bridge the gap between the current disparity in modern technology, allowing sustainable solutions to emerge onto the public market without being vehemently repressed by those controlling patents or that have the monopoly of power.

Since Nikola Tesla’s discoveries of how to use the Aether to tap into the Earth’s electrical field, to achieve overunity and after his death, humanity has unknowingly endured over a century or more of this unjust repression of science and monopolization of electricity by the oil-garchy, electricity which should be free and wireless, yet we are not taught the real fundamental laws of physics, a large portion of science involving the fifth element, the Aether is hidden and repressed from human knowledge. It is important to highlight the fact that mainstream science taught in schools and universities  is only a tiny segment of a larger science that continues to be kept hidden from humanity.  This tiny part that we are familiar with, is used as a propaganda tool to keep the governments in power and people from believing that electrical energy already exists all around us via the Aether it does not need to be generated, it is also known as Chi, Orgone, Prana or Kundalini energy, it has a different name in every culture and what is clearly fascinating is that the Aether has been known to exist by ancient Asian civilizations for over 8000 years, this knowledge forms the basis for the health of Chinese natural medicines and Qigong and Yoga, it is also a lost knowledge in many other great lost civilizations.

Those that benefit from this scientific illiteracy are the 1 percent global elite and their oil companies, so they may continue to destroy the rainforests and oceans in the process of petroleum extraction with the constant spilling and polluting, causing global ecocide.

British Shell Petroleum, which is just one of dozens of different oil companies, makes a net profit of about one hundred million pounds an hour.  That is, every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year, they earn an extra one hundred million pounds to play with.  Governments, political stakeholders, oil investors and oil companies alike don’t feel comfortable with us knowing this, and they would be quite upset if an inventor comes along and says ‘’hey wouldn’t you like to buy this water-fuel powered car or domestic power generator run by magnets, which will only cost you a few thousand pounds and produces all the electricity that you will ever want, no fuel needed, wouldn’t that be great?”  The answer is that the oil companies would not like it at all and the people who would like it even less are the government who take in around 85 percent of the cost that we pay at the fuel pump as tax.  The executive oil directors and governments will do what they can to prevent any one of us owning a car that runs on anything but oil-based fuel.  This power and profit-driven suppression of new alternative technologies for energy efficient vehicles, is the reason why we do not see them offered for sale at an affordable price to all.  It is also why many are not granted patents or given the opportunity to be made available for public sale on the ‘free market’.

Some key government figures are arm in arm with oil companies worldwide.  Politicians and oil barons are often one and the same.  Just take a look at the Bush family, while Tony Blair is deeply involved with Egypt and Israel’s gas industry as an energy advisor, it was recently revealed that they are involved with plundering Gaza’s gas ocean-based reserves, which Israel is planning on selling to Egypt.  The Labour Party had received up to 2.5 million pounds in donations in less than a year from energy giants as a means to influence a privileged few in their environmental policies to become more flexible for energy industries. The same thing happens in the USA, Oil companies pay politicians through lobbying agencies to influence their policy making decisions, its really a legalized form of bribery so that corporations can own politics and bypass environmental protection laws, this is why we are seeing ecocide and mass extinction at an unprecedented rate between 150 and 200 species are disappearing per day. Brazil’s supreme court has just banned Corporations from donating money to political elections. This is a great example of how to deal with this high level of corruption and should be made an international law.

You could say that the most powerful government positions are mostly filled by those who either run oil companies or are connected to the families of those who run oil companies.  Their goal is to make sure that our society stays in a kind of stasis, dependent on oil and gas, as it keeps the present governments in power, and generates for them a huge financial profit at a cost we all are paying for, by global environmental destruction.  This addiction to power and money through oil sales, is an addiction each of us are a part of, even if it is involuntary, but it is costing us the very Earth on which we live.

Four years ago Scott Brusaw from California, USA, gave a talk with Ted Talks, (an organisation, that sponsors people to talk about their ideas and projects), presenting the ‘Solar Roadway Project’, which is a project where ‘green’ engineers have been working to produce solar-powered roads and cars that could even help power homes and businesses.

The 2013, 3,000 km World Solar Challenge recently took place in Australia and was won by a Dutch Solar company named Eindhoven, which has built a solar-powered vehicle called ‘Stella’ and which is designed for families, they will perform the same challenge in October this year (2015), why again? It is important to keep demonstrating that solar and water cars can run as efficiently as the conventional car, as with many alternative fuel cars, it is possible that in a few years’ time, we will probably see these car fade into the background, a fate that has already been the case of countless other green vehicles produced over the past decades.

Since Stanley Meyer, invented his Water Fuel Cell car and was granted patents in 1989, other water-fuel cars have been built by other inventors.  Just last year, members of the Pakistani parliament, scientists, and students alike watched in awe as Waqar Ahmad, a Pakistani engineer, successfully demonstrated a water-powered car in Islamabad.  With just one litre of water, Ahmad claims that a 1000 cc car could cover a distance of 40 km, or a motorbike could travel 150 km.

In 2011, Japan invented a powerful water car produced by a company called Genepax, a Japanese company that unveiled a car that can run on river, rain or sea water, and even run on Japanese tea.  It is interesting to note that the Fukushima explosion that devastated Japan and the Pacific ocean was also in 2011.

The first compressed air car model to get media attention was in 1996, though there have been much earlier models in existence, in 2003, the French produced the Compressed Air Car, Moteur Development International, and Peugeot Citroen both have compressed air cars which they plan to market to the public in 2016.

With this in mind, we can consider that we no longer need oil from the rainforests or the oceans.  What we do need is to keep the forests and oceans preserved, perhaps via an international law that overrules political and corporations to bribe political decision makers, we need transparency and truly ecologically friendly laws to protect the environment from Ecocide.

The conservation of our environment could be seen as a matter of international security since  destroying our environment in turn destroys the future of human survival.  Is not the future of the world’s rainforests and oceans, a matter of human survival?  With our growing awareness, we each individually have a pressing responsibility to push for a transition from an oil-based economy to an ecologically-sustainable economy.

Free Energy is the only solution to ending the destruction of our environment, there are already many advanced solutions in the form of alternative technologies.  Solutions that should have been available to humanity a long time ago, and yet these are conveniently overlooked by global decision makers, which leads to the simple question “why?” – to protect the oligarchy and their precious monopolies being the obvious answer, however it appears their days are numbered as the ruling monopoly as progress and demand of clean energy technologies are pushing through the adverse barriers set before them because we the people are waking up and demanding cleaner energy. The shift in consciousness is taking place and nothing can stop it unfolding.

Cosmic change

The 15th of August is a special cosmic alignment date for Earth, the gateway for Venus in Mayan cosmology, for Love to grow stronger. I found this out yesterday and this was the day of my surgery and it is why everything went so extremely well. Many of my friends and family have seen how immensely huge my tumours were, my doctor told me they were killing me and was puzzled at how I was able to function up until now, I almost lost a kidney and all my organs were being crushed. I am now living breathing proof , just one example out of many  that love conquers darkness.

The reality is, there are many here that are sharing this experience of stepping into their own true authentic power, its part of the process to creating a purer higher more powerful loving vibration on Earth and the only way we can save Earth and ourselves (or more accurately, save ourselves from ourselves and to save our hearts and minds from dark energies), its happening, its a reality, many of us still do not know how immensely powerful we are.

Just put all your faith in the love you have in you and around you and follow your intuition. I am deeply grateful for this chance to walk into my true power and feel so much stronger in spirit. I feel reborn and stronger than ever before in spirit, even if I am not physically and I know many around me are stepping into their personal version of this realization too, its extremely beautiful when you do, its very powerful and its just pure LOVE, its stronger than anything else and it will and is conquering the darkness. Walk with Love ❤   with Love Carlita Shaw .

Dr Saamdu Chetri who I am honoured to say endorsed my book, shares the story of his life and amazing work with the BBC.

Dr Saamdu Chetri

In the 1970s, the king of Bhutan announced that the happiness of the population was more important than Gross Domestic Product. Saamdu Chetri has been charged with overseeing Bhutan’s happiness – but his own life has had its share of suffering.

On the banks of a river in the remote Bumthang valley in the foothills of the Himalayas, Bhutan’s first happiness centre is under construction. Among the workers breaking stones is Saamdu Chetri, dressed in monks’ robes, wielding a pickaxe.

At first the workers were puzzled at his hands-on involvement, he says. “Then they realised it’s not just for them, I’m helping myself by being physically fit.”

Chetri chose this remote location because of its spiritual history and its beauty. “It’s one of the most beautiful valleys in the country,” he says. “This is a place of happiness for me where I find so much relation with nature – the place itself is so serene.”

For a man charged with bringing happiness to a nation, Chetri has suffered much in his life and comes from the most humble beginnings.

“I was born in a cowshed,” he says. “I was so attached to animals, plants – anything to do with nature.

“My parents never thought about schooling. We had seven brothers and four sisters, they were all working and I thought I would also be one of the working persons.”

To his surprise, when he was nine years old his brother took him to school – something that worried his father a great deal.

“I was the most loved child and they didn’t want me to leave the house,” Chetri says.

“My father was very worried that I would become weak, so he sent a cow with me to school.” He laughs at the memory.

“Of course the cow couldn’t stay long because it had to be fed and looked after, so he took back the cow and he started visiting me with a lot of butter, cheese and milk.”

He left school at the age of 14 because his brothers and sisters had left home and he felt a duty to help his parents. His day on the farm began at 04:00 when he would walk a kilometre to fetch water, after which he would feed the ox and begin to plough.

He decided to carry on his education, but his life changed dramatically when his parents took him on a pilgrimage to Nepal. There, they befriended another family who had their eyes on Chetri as a potential son-in-law.

He was only 15 at the time and knew nothing about it. Their intentions only became clear when one of the men from the Nepalese family invited them all to a family wedding.

“The man took me to town, then they started measuring my finger – I said, ‘What are you doing with my finger?'” The man explained that he was only trying the ring on because he was the same size as a boy who was going to get married the next day – the same happened with the wedding outfit.

The following day the wedding ceremony began. Two ceremonial places were built, and Chetri and another boy were placed next to two empty chairs. “Then suddenly there are two men carrying two girls on their backs, coming towards us. One girl sat beside that boy, the other girl sat beside me. I tried getting up and they pushed me down on the chair,” says Chetri.

“Then my mum came and said, ‘Sorry son, you have been duped.’

“I felt I was dead – I wanted to die that moment. I was not only angry, I was so hurt. I couldn’t do anything.”

Once the ceremony began, it was too late to escape. The couple were given a small hut to retire to, but Chetri was too upset to sleep.

“I wanted to jump into the well and die, because this was something that I never expected my parents to do,” he says.

Chetri was climbing up to the well to carry out his plan when his wife’s father caught him from behind, and broke into bitter tears. “Please don’t blame your parents, it’s me who has cheated everybody, because I found you would be a great husband for my daughter,” the father said.

Tradition

He begged Chetri to think of his young bride. “If you die now, the repercussion that will happen on this little girl is that she will be widowed and nobody will marry her after that.”

Chetri and his wife had children, and she lived at home with her parents while he continued his education at college in India. However, traumatised by events in her own life, one day she disappeared, leaving Chetri with two young children. A female friend from college offered to help. Over time, their relationship grew, and they married.

After a while his first wife came home. Chetri was faced with a dilemma. His first wife offered to go and live with his parents, but soon disappeared again. It was 19 years before Chetri discovered where she was. Now she is back in her home country, Nepal, and lives with a mental illness. It’s something Chetri struggles with.

“I still think about her, in fact last night I was praying for her.”

Despite his own share of personal grief, nowadays Chetri always has a smile on his face. He says he’s a naturally happy person, but he never dreamt he would end up as the man responsible for Bhutan’s happiness.

His rise up through the ranks started when, freshly out of college, he was called on by government to bring about the the king’s wish to develop Bhutan’s newly emerging private sector. Working for the royal family wasn’t an easy task.

“For us, a king’s wish is a command,” he says. “You have to work very hard to meet their expectations.” He would often work until 03:00, catch a few hours’ sleep at home and be back at work promptly at 08:00.

If he made a mistake, he would be punished – on one occasion the king’s aunt called him and said, “Saamdu, I’m coming with a stick. Stand on the roadside.”

“If I got a scolding I would cry,” says Chetri. “I always tried to be very straightforward, working as sincerely and loyally as I could, and if some blame came to me I felt always hurt – so I cried often.”

After many years of working in the capital, he retired to his village in the south of Bhutan – he wanted to go back to living among nature, which he had loved as a boy. But it was not to be.

When Bhutan elected its first democratic government, he was summoned back to the capital, Thimphu, and asked to work for the cabinet office of Bhutan’s first, freshly elected democratic government.

Five years later he was the man chosen to head up Bhutan’s first Gross National Happiness Centre based in Thimpu.

Despite the focus on national wellbeing, Bhutan faces huge challenges. It remains one of the poorest nations on the planet.

A quarter of its 800,000 people survive on less than $1.25 a day, and 30% live without electricity. It is struggling with a rise in mental illness and divorce.

Chetri explained how Bhutan’s nationwide happiness surveys are used to improve people’s lives.

“The research could come out and say: women between the ages of 30 and 55 are unhappy. The reasons could be because they have very little education, because they lose a lot of time collecting water from distant places, they have to collect firewood, and they have no education, no time for themselves.”

The solutions might be to bring on formal education, pipe the water closer to their villages, and provide efficient cooking stoves.

Principles

Five years after it was first announced, Chetri is about to realise his dream of creating a centre in a beautiful natural setting where people from Bhutan and the rest of the world can come to learn how to lead happier lives.

Visitors to the GNH centre, finished this month but officially opening its doors to the public on 18 October, will learn three basic principles – to be part of nature, to serve others with kindness and compassion, and to discover their innate value.

Chetri starts every day meditating and it’s compulsory for everyone in his office to start the day this way too. “I wish I did not need to do anything but just to sit here and meditate,” he says.

“I would love that, but it’s difficult to be looking after a centre where you have to do a lot of planning, a lot of administrative work. It irritates me a lot.”
